Charlotte Bass

PATH Certified, EAL Facilitator
at Starz Equestrian Center

For as long as I can remember, horses have been a part of my life. They taught me patience, resilience, empathy, and the incredible impact that can come from simply being present. That passion inspired me to create STARZ in 2020, a place where people of all ages and abilities can experience the healing connection between horses and humans. I am PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor with 15 years of equine experience. My greatest passion is helping people discover confidence, healing, and joy through horses. I believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and capable. Whether someone is learning to ride for the first time, working toward physical or developmental goals, navigating trauma, or simply searching for a place to belong, my goal is to create a safe and encouraging environment where meaningful growth can happen. Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving individuals with disabilities, veterans, survivors of trauma, people in addiction recovery, school groups, foster youth, and families throughout our community. I've also seen volunteers find healing, purpose, and friendships while giving back to others. When you visit STARZ, you're joining a community where remarkable horses, dedicated volunteers, and compassionate instruction help people build confidence, independence, resilience, and lasting memories. My hope is that everyone who leaves our farm feels a little stronger, a little more confident, and knows they will always have a place here.

LPC

Many young girls struggle quietly with neurodivergence and mental health issues that may go undetected. This is also true for boys and gender fluid young ones. In my own life, I have found immense freedom and growth from therapy and other wellness practices like mindfulness, yoga, and social justice, and I am eager to share what I’ve learned with my clients. I work with people of all ages and life experiences on anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergences like autism, ADHD, and OCD. Developing a trusting and caring relationship with a therapist can make a very positive impact on our mental, emotional, and physical health. It is also important to incorporate the familial, cultural, and institutional factors that influence our lives into therapy. I prioritize being anti-racist in my work by bringing awareness to the intersectionality of our many identities as humans. Do you ever feel like sometimes you are talking or thinking yourself in circles? That’s why I decided to study Somatic Therapy in graduate school. This process involves deep inner listening, developing a connection to your body and emotions, and engaging in Parts Work, which acknowledges the existence of our inner-child and the many different beliefs and desires inside of us that can all exist simultaneously. I also hold a certificate as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. I gratefully acknowledge that Somatics and Mindfulness practices find their roots in Asian and Indigenous cultures.

Sarah Domin

Ordained Minister | Reiki Master | Certified Hypnotist
at Live Vibrant @ Four Directions Alchemy

Hi, I'm Sarah, founder of Live Vibrant @ Four Directions Alchemy in Ludington, Michigan. My work lives at the intersection of personal development, spirituality, intuition, and the patterns that shape how we experience life. I've always been fascinated by the human system: how belief becomes behavior, how the body carries experience, how intuition speaks to us, and why parts of us seem to know long before the mind catches up. I believe there is intelligence in what we experience, even when it feels confusing or uncomfortable. My work helps people understand themselves more deeply, recognize what is asking for attention, and move with greater awareness and choice. My approach blends practical self-understanding with spiritual and intuitive exploration. I draw from holistic, mind-body, spiritual, and personal-development practices in ways that respond to the person and what will best support them in that moment. I spent many years in community mental health, and my background includes study in hypnosis, energy work, shamanic and earth-honoring practices, spirituality, meditation, sound, nervous-system support, and holistic personal growth. I'm also an ordained minister and ceremonialist with a love for meaningful rituals that help us mark change with intention. At the heart of my work is the belief that people already carry more wisdom, resilience, and inner knowing than they often realize. My role is to help create the space where those things become easier to hear.
