Blue Sky Mind Therapy and Nutrition

Practice At A Glance

Here at Blue Sky Mind Therapy & Nutrition, we are Eating Disorder Specialists, offering trauma-informed, anti-diet, person-centered care through our team of dedicated providers. Our mission is to empower you to heal your relationship with food and body through compassionate, non-judgmental care. We are committed to supporting you in breaking free from diet culture and harmful patterns of disordered eating. Together, we work to foster a peaceful, balanced approach to nourishment that honors your needs and your pace. Through trauma informed therapy and evidence-based nutrition guidance, we aim to help our clients rediscover trust in their bodies, cultivate self-compassion, and embrace a life free from the constraints of food-related anxiety and shame.

At our practice, we provide individual therapy, which is an excellent option for anyone looking to deepen their insights, dive into patterns of behavior, and make change. Whether you are new to therapy or have been in the past, we will make sure your needs are met. Blue Sky Mind therapists will work with individuals 12 years and older.

We also work with couples and family to learn effective communication skills, conflict resolution skills, deepen your bond with one another, identify deep-rooted patterns, and learn to embrace connection. Engaging in couples and/or family therapy can help you develop deeper bonds and find joy in your relationships.

Additionally, we offer therapeutic yoga to deepen your mind body connection through yoga and mindfulness practices. Yoga is a somatic practice that can help you learn how to interpret body messages and regulate your nervous system. Therapeutic yoga can be a support for your therapy services and can be billed to insurance as a traditional therapy session if you choose to use insurance for services.

""Making peace with your body is your mighty act of revolution. It is your contribution to a changed planet where we might all live unapologetically in the bodies we have."
